How It Works

RFQForge affiliates connect referral traffic directly to your sales pipeline — not just clicks, but real business outcomes.

Affiliate shares referral link with ?ref=CODE
Visitor lands and submits an RFQ
RFQ is attributed to the affiliate
You convert RFQ → quote → order
Commission is calculated on order creation
You mark commission paid when settled

Setup (Owners)

Create affiliates from your dashboard and define how they earn.

Go to Dashboard → Affiliates → Add Affiliate
Enter name, email, and referral code
Choose commission type (fixed or percentage)
Save and share referral link

Each affiliate gets a unique referral code and a public dashboard.

Attribution & Tracking

RFQForge uses cookie-based and direct attribution to track referrals.

?ref=CODE is captured on visit
Stored in a 30-day cookie
Used when RFQ is submitted
RFQ stores affiliate + commission snapshot

This ensures attribution remains accurate even if the user returns later.

Commission Model

Commission is calculated once at order creation using RFQ snapshot data.

Fixed per RFQ → flat payout per lead
Percentage → based on order value

Orders store:

commissionPaid
commissionPaidAt

Commission is never recalculated, ensuring historical accuracy.

Dashboard list shows affiliate performance
Detail page shows RFQ → order funnel
Public page shows affiliate metrics
Commission tracking per order

Limits & Control

Affiliate usage is controlled by your subscription plan.

Starter: up to 50 affiliates
Growth: up to 100
Pro: up to 200
Custom: flexible

You can disable affiliates anytime to stay within limits.
